1928 Bentley 4.5 litre (Reference #SEF-A201) Of all vintage cars the Bentley is certainly the best known. The 4.5 litre was a developement of the earlier 3 litre. Over 650 of the 4.5 litre versions were constructed of which 50 were supercharged. By 1931 all production ceased, because of financial difficulties. 1934 Bugatti type 59 3.3 litre (Reference #SEF-A202) The type 59 started life as 2.8 litres in 1933 and finished 4th and 6th in the Spanish grand prix. In early 1934 the bore of the straight eight supercharged engine was increased and the capacity become 3.3 litres. The Bugatti type 59 was the last production car to be developed for grand prix racing, developing over 250hp the car could achieve 160 mile per hour. 1920 Vauxhall 30/98E 4.5 litre (Reference #SEF-A203) The 30/98E was specially built for the Shelsley Walsh Hill Climb in 1913 and designed by Lawrence Pomeroy. In 1920 it went into production at the Vauxhall Iron works, London. With a four seat 'Velox' body, full lighting and electric starter, it could easily exceed 85mph. A highly detailed model can be built from this kit, paying particular attention to the way in which the prototype was constructed. 121 castings. Price: £59.53 (Excluding: VAT at 15%) 1938 Jaguar SS.100 3.5 litre (Reference #SEF-A204) The firm of SS Cars Ltd and the Swallow Coach Building Company Ltd began by producing special bodywork for popular cars of the early 30s. By the mid 30s it was decided that a sports car of their own should be manufactured. A list of suitable animal names was drawn up, from which 'Jaguar' was chosen, for its association with speed and graceful movement. MG TC Midget (Reference #SEF-A205) The MG TC was the first post war car to come off the Abingdon factory production lines in 1945. Basically a developement of the pre-war TB. By the end of 1949 production totalled 10,000 cars, with many thousands being exported to many countries around the world. 1907 Rolls Royce 40/50 Silver Ghost (Reference #SEF-A206) Rolls Royce was founded in 1906, and the 40/50 was produced for the 1907 motor show and was named 'Siver Ghost'. Under an RAC observed test of 15,000 miles, it proved to have a degree of refinement previously unknown. This superb kit, created by one of our master patter makers, contains highly detailed fittings of all parts, and was considered good enough to be presented to her majesty Queen Elizabeth II by the Rolls Royce company. 155 castings. MG B Roadster (Reference #SEF-A207) The MG B first appeared in 1962 and quickly became a very popular sports car. Outwardly the car changed little in its first seven years. Three types of wheel are supplied with the kit, pressed steel, Rostyle and wire, which have photo etched spokes, along with full engine details and suspension and a one piece body. 125 castings. Because the driver was protected from the elements, a new market was found from customers who wanted a sports car performance with year round any weather use. MG B GT V8 (Reference #SEF-A215) This kit includes alternative parts for construction of either a chrome or rubber bumber model of the MG B GT V8. An etched Stainless Steel sheet contains the fine V8 logos, along with the normal MG B items and castings of the distinctive V8 wheels.
